I rode a friend’s electric bike a few months ago and absolutely loved it but she paid close to $2,000 and that was too much for me. I kept wanting one and after looking at the features and reviews for this bike, decided to take a chance.

The bike arrived in a single cardboard box and was well packed with lots of foam padding and zip ties to keep parts from flopping around. After removing all the packaging, I was left with about six or seven parts to assemble and a bag of included tools.
Next, I plugged in the charger and walked away to do some errands. I think the manual says it takes five hours to charge from empty but it was full after less than three hours.
I was ready to give it a full test on the street. This bike is a lot less expensive than my friend’s bike so I had little doubt it would ride just fine but thought maybe it wouldn’t feel as solid or be as peppy when using the electric part. I was wrong. There are three speeds to the power portion and you can really feel it! At each speed it seems to sense how much you’re pedaling first, and then it kicks in with extra boost. It keeps supplying power after you stop pedaling but then again senses if you’re slowing down and the power stops. I had just as big a grin on my face as when I rode my friend’s bike. The real surprise that I wasn’t expecting is there’s actually a throttle on the right hand grip and you can supply power by turning it. You don’t even have to pedal.
I’m trying to think of things I don’t like but I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s a good looking bike and full featured and you can’t beat the price for what you get in return. Literally everything is included to put it together (I did use my own adjustable wrench to remove a temporary rod installed in the front fork). The manual is the weak part with maybe two illustrations and ten pages of safety warnings. I would have liked assembly instructions with a focus on how to make sure everything is perfectly aligned and secured and some more info about the onboard computer but I’m not going to ride the manual, so not a deal breaker.

This is the absolute minimum, and in this case also the max ammount of money you should spend on a e-bike. Any thing less then 1000w you will NOT be satisfied, and will waist your money. If you can't afford this product then just wait till you can because nothing beats it. Easy assembly, not only that but it came with the tools, don't worry about buying it, because it comes with a 2 year manufacturer warranty.

We have only had these bikes for a few weeks, but the assembly was pretty darn easy and the bikes came as advertised. They are sturdy and heavy, but that is what we wanted. It is a very smooth ride on the extra large tires. All the components are working and the bike does have good pick up on acceleration in the pedal assist mode. We just wanted some fat tire ebikes to knock around the neighborhood and parks, so these fit the bill for the economical price compared to name brand bikes in the category. We are not using them as hard core weekend warrior mountain bikes, so we hope they last and get us around for a few years. The batter so far has stayed pretty well charged up. We have only put a few miles on them and we will soon ride them to empty to test the battery duration. Hope this helps.

My husband and I put it together in about an hour or so. The directions were fairly easy to comprehend.
My first test ride was fantastic! The battery came fully charged so I was able to take it out right away. I like to use the pedals to engage the assist, it takes off slower. I made it to about level 4, 5 was to fast for me.
I pull a trailer with two young children (Aprox 50lbs total with trailer) and this helps tremendously with hills and longer distances. It came with the tire guards, a rear bike rack, front and rear lights with turning signals which was way more than what other bikes came with that were double the price.
Somehow I misplaced my owners manual, which I like to keep a hard copy of. I contacted customer support through their email and they responded within 24 hours and answered my question along with providing me a way to pay for a new manual.
So far great customer service, the product is great and I am enjoying it!
